About us

In 2021, we began a co-creation process with Nuup and three coffee producer organizations in Chiapas, Mexico. Our extensive experience in the agri-food sector has allowed us to identify and deeply understand the barriers facing small-scale producers across different regions, countries and value chains.

This led us to develop Sirio. Sirio is a digital platform made to comprehensively manage the productive, commercial, and environmental information for producer organizations and agribusinesses. Our goal is to improve operational efficiency, facilitate compliance with market requirements, and enable decision-making based on precise, reliable data.

With Sirio, organizations can focus on what really matters: improving their product quality and strengthening their relationships with clients and producers. We believe in the power of co-creation. By incorporating users' voices and perspectives from the design stage, we ensure that our tool is truly valuable and responds to the specific needs of small-scale producers. For us, technology is a means to achieve goals, not an end in itself.

Our Allies

Sirio was born out of an initiative of Nuup, a Mexican NGO that works to accelerate the transition toward more sustainable, inclusive agri-food production and trade models.

The development and rollout of Sirio in key regions of Mexico (Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Veracruz), Guatemala, and Honduras has been made possible with the support of local partners and international organizations such as USAID, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, BFA Global, CRS: Catholic Relief Services, Mercy Corps, Defensores de la Naturaleza, Mayacert, Certimex, Heifer, and BID Lab.

We will continue strengthening our partnerships to ensure Sirio remains accessible and relevant for producer organizations, helping them stay competitive and improve their commercial conditions.
